Väljas läks taevas selgeks ja ilm on mõnusasti soe. Jääb loota et vihmane sügis on selleks korraks seljataha jäänud. Mägedes lubab pühapäevast edasi selle maa kohta üsna kanget pakast. Tubli kümne jagu miinuseid.
Bataleon Australia korraldas päeva tähistamiseks luulevõistluse, siiani üks parimaid näeb välja selline:
